New Mitered Squares Baby Blanket
Pattern Details
The New Mitered Square Baby Blanket is a worsted weight baby blanket that has the appearance of a patchwork, but is knit in one piece.
It is a fun and interesting blanket to knit!
Construction Details
The blanket begins with a single mitered square, and all subsequent squares are attached as you go, using a combination of casting on and picking up and knitting stitches. Upon completion of the main body (12 mitered squares in the main color), stitches are picked up along each side of the blanket, and the border is knit onto it with the contrast color.
This pattern includes clear written instructions for mitered squares, and a schematic diagram.
There are no seams, and minimal finishing required!

Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!
Required skills
