Posh Tosh Simple Poncho

The Posh Tosh Simple Poncho is a DK/light worsted weight poncho that is fun and interesting to knit, and looks great on everyone.
Construction Details
Poncho is knit seamlessly in the round on circular needles. It is worked from the top down, in alternating sections of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch, using increases to shape the garment. As the circumference of the poncho increases, you will need to switch to longer circular needles.

Measurements
24” circumference at neck edge
60” circumference at bottom edge
16” length (measured from neck to bottom edge)
Materials
Yarn
600 yds DK or light worsted weight yarn
Needles
size 9 circular needles, 24 and 32” length
Misc
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle
Gauge
3.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch, after blocking
Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!
Note: Poncho was intentionally knit at a very loose gauge, for a soft and drapey fabric.
Required skills
Casting on, knitting, purling, increasing (kfb), and binding off.
