Really Simple Chunky Cowl
Pattern Details
The Really Simple Chunky Cowl is a chunky weight cowl that is easy and quick to knit.
It was designed with beginning knitters in mind. Instructions are clearly written, and easy to understand.
Construction Details
The cowl is knit flat (like a scarf), and then the cast on and bound off edges are joined together. The cowl combines beginner friendly garter stitch and an easy basketweave stitch pattern.
As written, the cowl drapes loosely, once around the neck.
You could easily make the cowl longer if desired (which would require more yarn), and it could be worn as a scarf (if you eliminate seaming the ends together).
